Joined: Jul 2009 Posts: 1,409 | Jeesh, what a nightmare. That whole medically necessary business always had me baffled too. Especially with procedures that they deny. Did they think you were just going to the hospital to see what was on special?

Since posting this. UPMC, Pittsburgh, Oct 2011 until Jan. I averaged about 2 to 3 surgeries a week there. w Can't have jaw made as bone is deteroriating steaily that is left in jaw. Mersa is to blame. Feeding tube . Had trach for 4mos. Got it out April.

I am going to have to do something dull and boring for awhile before continuing to read - give myself time for the tears to clear, and the neighbours to go back inside after coming out to investigate the possibilty of a donkey living in the apartment above (hee haw)
