It is standard for anyone who has had tongue surgery. Trust me, you need to get a prescription from your doctors ASAP for speech therapy. That way insurance covers it. You can regain an amazing amount of what you lost with a good therapist. I can't believe you doctors did not set this up. It borders on malpractice (and I was a Malpractice lawyer 37 years ago until I could not stand it anymore) . Seriously, YOU NEED TO START SPEECH THERAPY. I know that's the equivalent of shouting but this is uber important if you want to recover. Get that prescription and make the appointments. No ifs, no ands, no buts. This is a FACT not an opinion like most of my posts.
