Anyone out there able to comment on possible late onset side-effects from Cisplatin? I completed radiation with three sessions of Cisplatin four months ago and initially seemed to have avoided the possible hearing damage and nerve damage (and was cleared by my medical oncologist), but now am starting to think that my ears are ringing a bit, and the soles of my feet feel a bit tingly.

Anyone out there have late-onset side effects from chemotherapy? I found a reference that this can happen, particularly in children.

I had one round of Cisplatin and was hit with immediate hearing damage to include ringing which I still have today. I did not get more of it after that as I was warned ahead of time to be aware of possible changes with hearing/ringing. Of course, once I received that first infusion lasting several hours the damage had already occurred. I never noticed in subsequent possible effects from it.
