I hope that you are able to eat normally at this point. Right now save that list til you need it. Eat everything you can now. You dont want to get cravings for anything while going thru treatment. Your eating will undergo some changes, lack of salivia and sometimes sores in yoru mouth and throat on top of your taste buds going wacky. So eat now and dont worry about calories at all. Most people lose some weight while going thru treatment so its ok if you gain some now.
When you have time, please add a signature. It can say anything you want. Under the My Stuff tab, I think its the profile tab, on the bottom is a box for you to type it. A signature helps people to better respond to your questions.

You will be amazed at the helpful information you will receive from members on this forum. Like others have said, right now, before treatment(s), your most important thing to do is EAT. Almost everyone loses weight during and after treatments, so even if you gain pounds you don't want now, you will lose them afterwards. Some of us go through the treatments easily, while some of us don't, but we all seem to have trouble eating afterwards. So, eat, eat, eat; and, Welcome.

Joined: Jan 2010 Posts: 142 | Welcome to our little club. Your statement "Thanks/things seem so overwhelming at this point." Is usually on all of our first few posts. It is scary and overwhelming. By time I saw my surgeon he listened to me for about 2 minutes and was impressed as to how informed I was. I learned A lot of it from this group.
I also researched the web and I had a list of questions. It made me feel as if I was doing something until I could see the Surgeon. Good Luck
