There is a white spot that has appeared. It has been there for a few days and is kind of sore if I run my finger over it. I think it is probably my paranoia setting in but thought I would ask. _________________________ Tongue cancer diagnosed 12/01. Tumor removed. No chemo, no radiation. I just answered you on the other post......
I always thought the answer was no. There was a very recent post from someone who asked their doctor. The answer was yes it is possible. It could be any number of things. If the sore has been there over 2 weeks it should always get looked at. For your piece of mind, call the doc and get it checked out. Sorry about the double post. I didn't realize I was in the financial forum the first time around. I did see the post you referred to - after i asked my question of course.
My spot is eerily similar to the ones in 2001 and 2006. I don't think I will wait 2 weeks. I will call in the morning.

Please return and keep posting. Hope everything turns out to be ok and its nothing serious.
As former cancer patients, we must stay on top of every little bump. Better safe than sorry. Second guessing that decision, of course. I will tell my wife and she will definately make me call! I'm going to go look for that article now.
