I do not experience that "gee I am hungry" thought. I have a friend whose daughter has had a feeding tube all of her 4 years of life. Her pediatrician told her that when they remove her daughters peg that they will have to feed her on the clock for awhile as there is something that happens in the brain when u have a peg that inhibits the desire to eat, u just don't think of food or the need to eat. So.....I have to wonder. But let it be said that I am passing this from the mom's info and certainly not from the Dr.
