Joined: Jun 2009 Posts: 440 | Does anyone seem to revert backwards when they get an upper respiratory infection? I've noticed everytime I get some nasal drainage from a cold it causes me to gag/cough alot more when trying to swallow food. Am I just weird?lol

Joined: Sep 2009 Posts: 618 | I get that too, so either we are both weird (a definite possibility) or it has something to do with our diminished swallowing ability.
I have to say that I think I do have a diminished swallowing ability. I first thought that it was a saliva issue, but I now think the swallowing muscles just don't do as much as they used to.
