Mine was pretty bad..way back...was on a lot of different drugs that suppressed immune system...the last two were Enbrel..3 years and then when that stopped working we switched to Humiera. It worked great until I got tagged with tongue cancer, then we stopped everything but topicals.
I am now cancer free (2 yrs) and covered with P again from head to toe...fill in the blanks.
A new drug called STELARA is out and about and unlike the others that all were t-cell inhibitors, this one blocks some of the interluken (sp) 12 and 23 proteins. The results I've seen are amazing, folks are clear in just a month or so.
Just wondering if anyone else has tried it???
Stage 4b BOT and node on right of throat. did 38 trips of TOMO PEG tube,Cysplatin,Taxotere & 5fu 1st 4th and 7th week, changed to Erbitux for the last 4 weeks. 1st PETS since end of TX..CLEAR 6mos out and 2 nodes are hot. Bilateral neck dissection on 10/31/08. Clear Scan 3/31/09 & 8/02/2010

That is great...I do my next CT at the end of July and see my MED ONC the first week in August and am going to talk to him about trying the drug. If it will stop the constant itch and my skin blowing up like it does, I'd be a happy camper
