Joined: Jul 2009 Posts: 1,409 | Mike, like you I love the hot stuff - Indian, Mexican, Thai. The hotter the better.
I'm nearing a year out of RT though and still can't handle it. But things have definitely improved, and the improvement is coming more quickly. I actually ate a plate of cheese enchiladas the other day, although I'm still wary of Indian. I'm figuring it will all come back in time and I'll be hitting the habaneros like DavidCPA!

Joined: Feb 2004 Posts: 598 | 3 years out, and I can enjoy most spicy foods. Not with the same tolerance I had pre-treatment, mind you, but I can handle a fair amount of heat without issue. Not chomping Habaneros as a mid-morning snack, but entirely acceptable. ;-)
