Petey,

From your signature, it looks like you are almost 1/2 way through your radiation treatments. That can be the begining of a tough time for some. My husband really hit a wall during week 4 and 5. And, it really impacted his "fight".

Some of that was struggling with getting the pain medication at the right level, which it is now...and, now that he is more comfortable, he has his "fight" back.

Petey, I hope you fight this and I hope you fight this hard! Staying mentally and emotionally on top of the fight is a challenge...for patients and caregivers.

I will forever be impressed with how you took hold of your situation and organized a top medical team.

Now you need to channel everything you have into winning this fight...and, believing in yourself and your team.

Wishing you the best.

God Bless,

Margaret

Go Petey GO,

You can do this with all of us behind you. You are never alone. Remember the footsteps in the sand? When there was only 1 set of prints, GOD was carrying you. He is with you every step of the way and so are we.

Petey, you are going to get thru this!!! For Heaven's Sake! We need you, so you better stay tough! It will be hard, but you can do this! My skinny lil 'Bailey' and 'misskate' have truly and deeply bonded! Thanks to your help. Kate has helped christa prepare for her surgery. You better stay available. How can we help get you a laptop? If them lil' twiggy, stubborn girls have forced themselve thru all the triplet of treatments you really will! Keeping you in our thoughts and prayers. Fight with all your might. We know you got the fight!

Jordan's Mom. Linda
She fought the fight with courage, hope and dedication. Ten months of battling tongue cancer. They thought they had it after each treatment. Not to be. Christa died at 32 y/o in Nov. '07.
