i agree with david...start out by getting the results back. then let us know how that turns out...we will go from there. hoping for the best!

Good News,

My husband's brush biopsy came back negative. His dentist says he will do oral exams once every six months for a while just to make sure.

So now I am down to only one oral cancer patient (my brother) who is having surgery on the 23rd of March.

Thanks for your help.


Brother Dx oral cancer March 23. Invasive Squamous Cell Carcinoma: Mod Dif Anterior Floor of Mouth, Peridental Soft Tissue, Right Bony Margin. Lymph Nodes 0/56 Stage II,pT2,pN0 2.8 cm
I was Dx b/cancer 9/2007. IDC Stage2 Grade2 2.4 cm 0/8 Nodes ER+ PR+ Her-2 Rad 33 no chemo.

Soory about your Brother but sure am glad about your hubby's good news. I offer him my congrats and my sympathy to your brother.


Since posting this. UPMC, Pittsburgh, Oct 2011 until Jan. I averaged about 2 to 3 surgeries a week there. w Can't have jaw made as bone is deteroriating steaily that is left in jaw. Mersa is to blame. Feeding tube . Had trach for 4mos. Got it out April.

Great news about your husband! Im sure both of you are thrilled that he is well. Congrats!!!! Now both of you can help your brother get thru this.
