A few year ago I went through a rough patch after quitting smoking but continuing to dip. I was using so heavily I think almost put another one in soon after I spit one out. I "luckily" found something on the underside of my tongue and immediately stopped using. I went to a doctor who removed it and the biopsy said it was nothing to worry about. At the time of first inspection I also noticed what seemed to be little bubbles on the floor of my mouth and the doctor said they were just blocked salivary ducts. A few years later, the past three months, I went and had a little more removed from the underside of my tongue....again healthy biopsy. Now I just looked at the floor of my mouth and when I lift my tongue the floor rises up a little bit as if something is beneath the skin and it is trying to get air. It does appear inflamed, but I have been told the tongue and floor of the mouth and tongue are one large muscle and this is out of the ordinary. The floor when I first saw the bubbles was flat and now it undulates a little bit.
I am a peron who has major lawsuits against some people who might not appreciate their liabilities to me, nor my realization that I have great lawsuits.
Kind of confusing, but my mother was a victim of breats cancer and her case was a case that was used by some breast cancer advocates to generate funding for cancer research. I have found out recently that I was owed a bunch of money years ago and I think it it was also used for advocacy.

I left his office and took a look myself in my mouth. I disovered something more concerning. The entire left side of my mouth inside my teeth line wrapped all around the base of my tongue seems to be a soft fatty growth under the skin making that side very shallow while on the other side of my mouth it is very cavernous and firm as I can firmly feel the muscle that makes up the tongue. Getting a little scared. | | | | | Joined: Sep 2009 Posts: 618 "Above & Beyond" Member (500+ posts) | | "Above & Beyond" Member (500+ posts) Joined: Sep 2009 Posts: 618 | Todd,

The muscle is all I have left and man what a job to keep the thrush off it. I brush and it looks like dried blood on my brush. I thought I had an infection until the dr told me it was the tongue uscle that I was seeing and feeling.

I did see an oncological surgeon a few years ago who shoved a piece of wood down my throat and made me gag, but lost his practice soon after.
I tried to see an oncology specialist recently but they keep telling me that I need to be diagnosed before they will see me which doesn't make any sense as I had seen one who let me in his office for a diagnosis. | | | | | Joined: Sep 2009 Posts: 618 "Above & Beyond" Member (500+ posts) | | "Above & Beyond" Member (500+ posts) Joined: Sep 2009 Posts: 618 | Todd,
You need to see an ENT (Ear Nose and Throat) Specialist. My GP and Oral surgeon both told me I did NOT have cancer before the ENT said I did. I waited for the biopsy results but he was 90% sure just from the exam.

This will save a lot of wear and tare on your mind and nerves. I never look in my mouth because it has had a few operations and many biopsies. If ti=it is there let the ENT look at it and do his thing.
