I don't know if I'm writing under the correct board or not but can you go in a pool w/ a PEG tube? My mom has a pool and I would like to float around if possible. Does anyone have experience w/ that? I'll call my doc tomorrow but was just wondering what you all said. I read online that you could. Thanks!!

My Dr said no baths while I had my PEG in, bettet to take a shower because if I took a bath I had to make sure the water wasn't above my PEG. I've also read that here in the forum a while back. You maight want to double check with your Dr.

Hi Jordan, I don't think it's a good idea but I understand why you want to. Jack is a water person and it killed him to not go swimming last year. Try sitting on the edge of the pool or even on a float - a really sturdy float that sits you out of the water where the peg is. Compromise. Regards JoAnne
