He has ordered another CT scan (eventhough my last one was 11/9/09& clear). He also told me what kind of surgery I would be facing, to scared to even think about it. Merry Christmas everyone! I wish us all Health over wealth anyday!!!

Sorry you are having to deal with more scans and appointments.
Do you have any more info on when your CT will be yet?

What did your ENT say? What kind of surgery IF its cancer? I was like you and refused to even consider that I would have a recurrance. I was so afraid of it coming back that I wouldnt even read a post about recurrances.
Please remember its not cancer til a biopsy says it is. Please keep us updated. Dont forget that we are here if you need a place to gp for support. Ive been thru 2 recurrances and Im sure I can help you IF you have one.

I think the world of you all ! My CT is going to take place on Wed @10am. I will be glad to get it over with. The sooner I take the next step..the sooner we get the results. I have taken this time to take in my emotions, I now feel like I over-reacted ! Maybe this was just a release from holding it all in, back in 2008 ! Now I don't care what they do to me. I will take what ever medical care is needed. For now, I am just going to look forward to going to the theater Thurs pm to see The Nutcracker. So when they stick the IV in me f/the contrast dye...I'm going to be thinking of the ballet!!! Thanks again my friends for your concern & support! I'll let you all know how things turn out. Dianne

The bump/lump is so much smaller now. The ENT Dr. said it could have been a cloged lymph node. I have now received the best & only Christmas gift I longed for, not only for me, but not to have to put my 80 yr.old parents through it again ! Now my New Years wish, is that everyone else with a concern will also have the same clear CT results in 2010 & Beyond !!!
