Joined: Aug 2007 Posts: 42 | Hi everyone, I hope this finds you all well. CNN is looking for female oc survivors to do a feature on. They are looking for people in the DC area but are willing to branch out to PA, Maryland and VA. This could be a wonderful opportunity to raise awareness. I know Mom would have jumped on this chance! I already have Christine signed up! I know her recent strength would serve as an inspiration to many. So how about it ladies?? any one else interested in spreading awareness on such a major news network? Email me at [email protected] With lots of love, Amy Lost my mother, Minnie, to Oral Cancer October 29th, 2008. I am so thankful she had the OCF to help her through her five year struggle.

 Take care,
 Eileen

April 2006: Husband dx by dentist with leukoplakia on tongue. Oral surgeon's biopsy 4/28/06: Moderate dysplasia; pathology report warned of possible "skip effect." ENT's excisional biopsy (got it all) 5/31/06: SCC in situ/small bit superficially invasive. Early detection saves lives.
