Paula and Jim,

You're in my prayers, I hope that Jim's pain continues to stabilize and that you can share some quality time together. It's amazing to me how cancer can bring out the best in some people, like your brother, and others go running when you need their support the most! I will never understand how people who say they love us can keep their distance at times like this!

Wow Paula, you have been having a hard time. I'm happy that your brother came to help you and I'm sorry your mom and sister let you down. Jim is lucky to have you, you are a strong woman. It sounds like you are doing a great job. Stay strong and I'm thinking of you.

Thanks everyone for all of your replies....Jim's leg is slowly recovering and we hope that he's able to get rid of the crutches soon and start walking again. Had a nice Thanksgiving at our home, Jim's family, my brother and my 2 daughters. Everyone was gone by 5:00 pm so we were able to get to bed by 9....I'm going to attempt the Christmas tree....

I am very sorry to hear of all you and your husband are going through. The very best of wishes to you for celebrating your love together. I know these times are horrible in many aspects but you will also cherish them. I'm so glad that your brother came - sounds like a good brother to me. Sorry your mother and sister have caused you extra pain and hope they come around soon in spirit and body. I will be keeping you in my prayers. Enjoy each other.
