Joined: Mar 2009 Posts: 147 | But during your regular Dr checkups are they doing blood work and checking your Iron and B-12. I was suffering fatigue and it was determined I was dificient in both. Weekly then Bi-Monthly B-12 injections really helped.

Joined: Mar 2008 Posts: 3,082 | Well I just don't see the "slow recovery". It takes about a month for each week of radiation for most of us to shake off the effects. so please do the math. One reason I agreed to do the Patient's perspective on swallowing per Brian's request is that almost everyone who first posts here has vast over-expectations on recovery time that simply does not comport with the majority of experience that the OCF poster have suffered through.
I have never been a patient person, so I fully empathize with the frustration over the slow pace, but I have always been a realist.

Another thing to watch is your TSH levels. I forgot to mention that when we talked today. Many of us suffer from Hypothyroidism which can also cause fatigue. A simple one a day pill helps right the ship.
