These reactions seem pretty normal to me given the circumstances! Some of these reactions are due to the situation but I noticed that some of the medications he was on to treat side effects of the chemo may have also contributed to his symptoms. Always discuss these types of symptoms with your Dr.

Welcome to OCF. Is Michael still taking pain meds? If so, I'm sure that is causing him to be sleepy also. I'm happy to hear the tx is over and you are on to the healing.

He's off all pain meds - doc said that the sweats were probably from withdrawal. Michael did it his way (cold turkey), not the doc's way. Now we're at the opposite end of the spectrum - he cannot sleep in the evening. Tosses, turns, etc. Melatonin used to work; trying soft music, mediation, acupuncture - all to no avail. I think it fear and worry (understandable); he said he's afraid to live and also afraid to die. His zoloft has been increased. Also having issues with hearing - ENT said it's dehydration. We see the radiation onc this Thursday. One week from today he'll have a full body scan and also a scan of the liver.
Sending prayers to all on this board.
