Hope your meeting with doctor went okay. As for the next three weeks, expect more of the same. some sail though this, others do not. consider yourself lucky to sleep 12 hours a night as I was and remain plagued by insomnia after each radiation treatment. and best of all, you can expect things to start getting better. Keep up the physical therapy exercises and consider some soft food or soup to keep your swallowing in good shape. One word of warning: watch out for Trismus, this is just about the time it starts creeping up on you. You should also watch out for your teeth. Measure how much you can open your mouth and be sure to start the exercises to strengthen your jaw. Your medical team should be able to recommend a dentist with experience of oral cancer patients as I got both Trismus exercises and flouride gel during radiation and certainly daily after TX good luck charm PS.now go to general forum and read the cancer award sticky and VOTE for OCF 65 yr Old Frack Stage IV BOT T3N2M0 HPV 16+ 2007:72GY IMRT(40) 8 ERBITUX No PEG 2008:CANCER BACK Salvage Surgery 25GY-CyberKnife(5) 3 Carboplatin Apaghia /G button 2012: CANCER BACK -left tonsilar fossa 40GY-CyberKnife(5) 3 Carboplatin Passed away 4-29-13
