I definitely got worse after radiation was over and, like you, I am waiting to turn the corner. I am subsisting on liquid foods for now and they don't taste very good but it's either that or starvation since I didn't get a stomach tube.
The wierd taste is probably normal. I haven't had any throat swelling problems but then again, I didn't have surgery -just rad and chemo. Your feeding tube shouldn't be hurting. Call your doctor. If you had IMRT radiation you will get some salivary function back.
