Just make sure he doesnt put it on before he goes to radiation. I used Beta-val and aquaphor. The beta val worked very well. My neck was full of open sores and I do not have any scarring at all. Make sure he puts it on thick enough to let it soak in. Do not rub it in or the skin can be further damaged.
