Hi Irish
I'm in the middle of chemo/radiation myself. Seens that things are going well for you. I've heard that Seltzer water breaks the thick saliva. Someone mentioned the cans/bottles from Safeway were the best.

Keep eating. My doctor gave me Isosource which is paid by my insurance co. High calorie, high nitrogen(?) and high fiber liquid. It doesn't taste bad. Has 375 calories per 8.45 oz.
Use it to make a milkshake. But whatever you do, EAT, EAT, EAT.
Try some salmon which is soft and very nutrious.

My neck is sensitive also. A moisturing cream (without lanolin) will help.

Good luck! I'm not sure where you are in your treatment; I'm on week 5.
