Just wanted to give you an update. I saw the thoracic surgeon yesterday and he read my scans. He said it doesn't look like cancer, that it could be an inflammation (infection) like alot of you had said. (thanking the man upstairs!) He said he sees this alot in head&neck cancer. He's putting me on antibiotics for 2 wks and a decongestant. He had asked me if I have trouble coughing up mucous. Which I do, it's still thick. Then I go back in Jan. sometime and have another scan done, so hopefully it won't be there. Whew!!!! Great to hear that news. Thanks for letting me share. Have a great day Linda
