Scared M...I too do not want to cause any extra concern but I want to express that sometime doctors do not see what is in front of them and what ever you choose to wait or to push of course it is all your choice. I was another where the doctor missed the mark. He told me it was an irritation from my dentures, gave me a mouthwash and sent me on my way...four months the sore didn't physically bother me but it was seeming to get bigger and I went back to my denturist. He was concerned and sent me to an oral surgeon who directly did a biopsy. If the first doctor would have recognized the fact that the sore had been there already three months, I may have possibly gotten away with less surgery. There are no guarantees with that of course but still I like to hand on to a few things. In this game the name should be called persistance... Take care scaredm and as long as you are comfortable with diagnoses good if not please don't let people push you around.
