Great topic Tom, Put another way ,Why do I post? After my doc threw out all the dreaded stats at me and after yrs of dealing with it-- I realized
7 out of 10 in my boat are dead in 5 yrs.
1 out of the surviving 3 will probably get a secondary cancer.
Well that leaves me and the other person to raise awareness and then it hit me that the other person may not be as lucky as me and they may have lost their tongue, voice, or had disfiguring surgery and are afraid to bring notice to themselves. Well I strongly believe that I owe it to the other 9 people not as lucky as me to help keep there cause alive.
Tom I hope I can shed a little light on this matter because it truly deserves it, we all need each others support and guidance.
