I keep on forgetting to post this...every so often I mention my Nanny...My mothers mother...She was diagnosed with SCC tongue cancer when she was 80 years old. She had about 10% of her tongue removed with clean margins with no other tx. She will be 91 this coming March. She smoked only one cigarette in her life at the age of 17 and doesn't drink alcohol. Nanny religiously takes her vitamins and goes to Church. She'll be an eleven year survivor with no recurrences or complications in 2009.
