Joined: Nov 2002 Posts: 3,552 | I asked my head & neck surgeon once why I survived an advanced stage cancer he simply said "luck". I had radiation only (and 2 chemo treatments) and it will be 6 years since intital Dx this month. I don't drink or use tobacco products and eat a resaonably healthy diet.
