thanks for the tips on sinus infections and allergies.

years ago i was tested for allergies... and nothing turned up. however this region is known for a high rate of allergies. i'll talk to my ENT about it. i had thought that infections were different than allergies, and since i responded to antibiotics, that i have an infection problem... could be (as usual), i'm wrong and actually have an allergy.. that might be a good thing, if it means that my hip is safe from infection. i can work around\with my sinus problem, but i don't want it going to my hip!

i'll let you know what the ENT says\recommends\does in a couple of weeks.

'01 diagnosis.. jaw hing and base of tongue. surgery not possible. JHU used radiation and chemo to seemingly rid me of the beast. peg for about 19 months. 100 cases of 24 cans of liquid food. 9 months eating therapy. 3x esophagus stretches. non-smoker. previously a social drinker.
