Recently caught a cold which caused my throat to get quite sore and difficult to swallow. Last night I looked at my tongue and found it was split about 3/8 of an inch (width and depth)most of the way back toward the rear od my mouth. Any ever have this experience? Night call to on-call doctor (MO) said he suspects damage from treatmentsm but recommends seeing ENT. Thoughts or experiences?
Also have turkey neck of softball size - having just arrived this last week.
Thanks
