I am leaving for LA in a few minutes. Wish me luck---I will try to be a 'smart patient'. Historically, I am not known for my 'smarts', and do not claim to be an expert on HPV, but if my being in the public eye make people stop and look and want to know more, my job is done.

Left tonsil SCC, HPV+. T2N0M0. Tonsillectomy 3-07, bilateral radiation, cisplatin 3x, Tx completed 6-06. Clear PET 4-01-2008.
Thyroidectomy 5-9-08, resulting in permanent surgically-induced hypoparathyroidism and adrenal problems. Bummer.
