I would like to applaud a significant achievement by the premier poster on the OCF board, Gary, as he passes the 2000th posting mark since he began helping others here. Not one to make lots of quickie "wish you well" posts, Gary offers well founded, science based answers to wide and diverse topics, showing a depth of experience and knowledge unequaled by anyone else on the board.... myself included.

If he does not have the answer, he is wiling to do the research to find the answers needed, and his replies are 99% of the time strong, unbiased, useful information. His dedication to help others seems without limits, and few days pass when he has not come to the aid of someone here. We all owe Gary a great deal, not just for his tireless efforts on behalf of strangers, but also for the example that he sets for all of us in dedicating a portion of his life to be in service to others. The foundation and I personally wish to thank Gary for his dedication and continued involvement. His desire to ease an emotional or physical pain, provide answers that help people make informed decisions, and bolster someone at their emotional limits, exemplifies what is best in human nature and public service.
