Joined: Feb 2005 Posts: 2,019 | It's a prescription. I was given it to try during treatment and I don't recall it helping much. Actually I still have a some of it and maybe I'll see if it helps with my chronically sore mouth now. The nurse at the MOs office said some people do find it very soothing.
