Joined: Jan 2008 Posts: 706 | My husband is seeing Dr. Matthew Fury at Sloan. He specializes in Head and Neck Cancer. Dr. Mark Pfister also treats that kind of cancer. You can go on Sloan's website for more info on them. That's how we found Dr. Fury and he is wonderful so far. I also found out about the trial that my husband is currently on by searching the site for ongoing trials.

cg to husband, 48 Stage 1V head and neck SCC. First surgery 9/07. Radiation and several rounds of chemo followed. Mets to chest and lungs. "Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass, it's about learning to dance in the rain." Went home to God on February 22, 2009.
