I spend many hours wondering how i can be proactive in the fight against Oral Cancer, and today i made my first positive step.In the UK One week in November is designated Mouth Cancer Awareness Week, and today i contacted my local radio station whom i am in regular contact with through my job at the hospice.I have given them a brief outline about the disease and the importance of early diagnosis, oral screening and educated dentists.I am asking for a slot on the radio to bang home this message and urge people to make sure they get an oral Cancer screening test at every regular dental check up.i have also asked them to bullet punch the warning signs throughout the week.

Heres hoping they take me up on this.
