This has taken me too long to write, just difficult. Misskate and Christa met here a year ago or so....They were both early 30's, vibrant, enchanting, etc!! and fighting tongue cancer. I had been visiting the site for a long time and discovered Kate's blog, and immediatly knew these girls had to meet. Our ole friend Pete Booras helped these girls come together bonding them forever. They helped each other in support that was untouchable by another! Only due to OCF did they find each other and have available that deep friendship.
Kate, her husband and friends, the SF Scots had an event and donated $1000 to OCF in Memory/Honor of Christa Demo, aka Jordan. It has been sent, but Kate & I felt we had to make it known here how very important this site is to it's members for the support, education, heartfelt empathy for one another and unconditional love for each other, and sincere hope for each fighting this disease.
