Hello,
Two years ago I was diagnosed with squamous cell carcinoma in situ of the vocal chords. Surgery was done and I have been watched carefully for the last two years. In March I had a regular 3 month check and expressed my concern to my doctor about my constant sinus drainage since Jan. and sore spot in the roof of my mouth that my dentist is puzzled by. He decided to refer me to a rinologist. Well, my appointment is next week and I am getting a little worried. Everything that I have read tells me what sinus cancer treatments are, but no one really shares symptons. In the last three weeks, my neck has gotten quite sore, my ears are starting to hurt and I feel like I have the mumps. I cannot feel any swollen glands, by there is tenderness behind my left ears. I would love to hear from anyone that can give me some insight to all this. I have done alot of reading on cancer of the sinus and I have some of the symptoms. Also, is it possible for it to have moved from the vocal chords to other places like the sinuses? Thanks! Kelly
