Thanks for the good thoughts. Yes, they will do another scan at 3 months. I'm learning that I never know what to expect with the scans so I'm trying to keep an open mind. If no new ones have grown, I think I will get some time off everything. Although I'd be happy to have them snip out a lung tumor every three months forever if it would work. When the mets first showed up they said they wouldn't do the surgery because there were too many. But with just one they will try it. I'm glad to see that the plan can always change, I guess.
I'll be off email for a few days, but best of luck to you guys at your Sloan appointment. They are top-notch over there.
