As far as treatment goes, I would want them to be as aggressive as possible upfront so it doesn't return. I didn't have surgery, but had chemo and radiation. The tumor on my tongue was large enough that they would have had to remove half my tongue, but they opted for the chemo and radiation. So far 7 months out from treatment things look real good. I am scheduled for another PET scan at the end of April which was ordered by my RO.
