I hope that David does well with the tubes. Problems with the ears are common in our family and the tubes have provided relief. One grandchild always had ear infections and the tubes provided only temporary relief. She was once in the hospital because the infection was so bad. Finally a pediatric ENT diagnosed a problem which required surgery and the infections stopped. If David continues to have problems ask for a referal to a pediatric specialist as continued antibiotics are not good for anyone. We are fortunate to have an excellent children's hospital here and from experiences there with my grandchildren, I would recommend that all children be taken care of in facilities which treat only children. The difference between that and what we had when I was a child and my children were young is remarkable. We had a scare with a seven year old which required several tests and would have been much easier on him if done in such a facility. Malka
