Joined: Jul 2007 Posts: 939 | Yep, amen on the port...althought hubby is a tough guy, he hates to be stuck and opted to have a port put in during his PEG surgery. He was very happy to have it during treatment...made life easier and freed up his arms and hands during the 5-6 hours of chemo.
Michelle, so sorry your body is giving you problems in the midst of all of this..I will pray that you can get thru this without major intervention...you are right, you don't need this.

TREATMENT END: 10/1/07
PEG OUT: 1/08
PORT OUT: 4/09
FOLLOWUP: Now only annual exams. ALL CLEAR!
