Well said Brian. I jumped on the HPV bandwagon as soon as I found out that I tested positive for HPV 16. But the more I read and the more I talk to people like Brian and my RO, etc, the more I realize how complicated this subject is. I was also told over a year ago by the Director of Pinellas County Infectious Disease that HPV can be transmitted by mouth to mouth kissing and it is highly contagious. But as Brian says, just like tobacco, alcohol and betel nuts, not everyone who is exposed gets OC. Lets hope they can discover the many mysteries surrounding this and all cancers.
