My husband just noticed a painless, clear, round, raised, hard spot on his mobile tongue today. It is a little smaller than the size of this icon. confused

He's going in for his PET scan on Monday. Although, he doesn't have a doctor consult scheduled for that day.

His treatment was primarily geared toward his throat area as his original tumor was base of tongue. And, his mouth has long since healed.

He is very bothered that there is a spot on his tongue. He asked me to put up a posting to find out if anyone has experienced a similar clear, raised area.

If it's still there on Monday we will see if we can have someone look at it when he has his PET done. However, if anyone can put his mind at ease as to potential reasons why the spot occurred, it will make the rest of the weekend a little easier.

This OC stuff can sure put a person on edge. crazy

Thank you,

Margaret
