Joined: Jan 2004 Posts: 1,116 | Hi All, thanks for writing to me....first and foremost,I am working on my health issues.....I had a dental appt today, my dentist is 3 floors up from my oral surgeon, so I stopped in my oral surgeon's office to find out if the scans were back but the secretaries really didn't know a whole lot, everybody was getting ready for the holiday, etc.......I am HOPING they do not call me about the scan, that hopefully will mean all systems go for the surgery 12/14........Thanks again, Carol
Diagnosed May 2002 with Stage IV tongue cancer, two lymph nodes positive. Surgery to remove 1/2 tongue, neck dissection, 35 radiation treatments. 11/2007, diagnosed with cancer of soft palate, surgery 12/14/07, jaw split. 3/24/10, cancer on tongue behind flap, need petscan, surgery scheduled 4/16/10
