We watched Sydney's New Year's bash in telly -- very impressive as usual!
No official fireworks or celebrations here in Washington DC, a very dull New Year's -- Baltimore of course had *their* annual harbor bash but since we have been to Baltimore a zillion times in last 6 months, decided to stay home and veg out and drink sparkling cider -- some neighbors had nice (illegal) fireworks which woke all the local sleepyheads (and dogs!) up at Midnight!
