Supporting Member (50+ posts) Joined: Feb 2007 Posts: 61 | I peroiodically got neck massages at work (oncologist didn't think i needed them to prevent a turkey neck, but I could tell there was swelling). It felt good and I wanted to do whatever I could to help my recovery. After 7 months from treatment the therapist say she really couldn't tell the right side from the left. I can still tell there is a difference, but I've now switched to shoulder massages (for me).
SCC, right tonsil, T1N0MO, G3, HPV-33 positive, 7 wks IMRT 2/21/07-4/13/07, 48 year old female when diagnosed, non-smoker, weekend wine drinker, tumor and both tonsils removed. Ethyol for 3 weeks; no peg; only minimal longterm side effects
