I slept alot while on the morphine, after I came off of that I didn't sleep nearly as much. That is something that was tough for me, as tough as the chemo. Withdrawls from the oral morphine caused naseau as bad as my chemo so be prepared for that too. Joylight I agree with many of the other posters, your boss is quite hopeful, but very unrealistic. I finished my treatments on March 22 and am now contemplating returning to work at the end of this month. I started going to the gym 2 weeks post tx and it has taken this long to get the stamina and strength that I will need for my job. My job is very physical but just the stamina to go 40+ hours a week has taken awhile to rebuild. I lost a total of 45lbs, more muscle than fat unfortunatley. One thing that seems to help is when the patient allows their body time to heal. Other friends and aquaintences of mine who have fought cancer of this type or others who try to be superman have found themselves sick with flues and colds that kept them down for over a year so I vowed to allow my body the time it needs to heal. It seems to be working well. Good luck, Lee
