OP Betty Member Joined: Dec 2006 Posts: 21 Georgia	I am 3 mos post radiation and have started having excruciating, sharp pain in my tongue. It lasts 5 to 10 minutes, then subsides. My ENT says it is due to radiation damage. Anyone else have this happen? Any relief? Betty Squamous Cell Carcinoma of tongue, stage II due to size >3mm, nothing seen in neck on CT scan. Radiation started in Jan 07. Completed 2/26/07. Recurrance confirmed 8/07.
