Oh well, I'm pretty used to it now I guess. When they removed my jaw they replaced it with the small bone from my leg, used muscle, etc to rebuild my gum. My doctor calls it a live transplant, told me it would "become" my new jaw. And that is what has happened. I healed quite well after surgery Vicki, but it was also my first surgery. About 2 and a half weeks out from surgery I was eating many regular foods.......of course radiation took care of that a few weeks later! I haven't had any problems with my legs other then after surgery the most pain I had was in the leg that they took the bone from. The leg they took the bone from gets tired very easily and I can't stand on it for a long time before it gets tired and aches. Sorry I'm not much help. Did you have chemo?? I didn't have any chemo so that may make a difference. Take care, Minnie
