Hello All,

Was reading some older postings and ran into one talking about bratwurst last June.
It gave me an idea that has nothing to do with cancer!! A good thing I think.

I am going to list my favorite meal and see if anyone can top it!! Play along if you want to.

Take two New York strips about 1-1/4" thick and marinate them in either a lemon pepper or blackened seasoning for about two to three hours.
Start the Weber grill with real charcoal and let it get good and hot. (about 30 minutes)
Take one pound of fresh aspargus and cut just the tips off down about two to three inches. You can either grill them turning every few seconds or boil to desired crispness. Saute some fresh mushrooms in butter and table onions. Preheat the steak plates in oven for ten minutes.
Cook the steak about 4 to 5 minutes each side or to desired doneness. I like mine with pink showing. Close to medium rare with a grilled outer part. Bake two potatos for 1 hour at 425'
and serve with real butter and sour cream and salt and pepper.
Would also like a side dish of fresh olives, pickels, carrots and celery with Hidden valley Ranch dressing. Also a small side dish of cottage cheese.

Desert would be a medium piece of cheesecake with strawberry or cherry topping with whipped cream.
Eat till full and go take a nap!!!

Love ya All, Danny Boy
