I'm wondering whether any of you have been taking COX-2 inhibitor NSAIDs: Vioxx, Celebrex or Naproxen(Alleve) as part of a chemoprevention program and if so, whether you are considering stopping because of the recent adverse clinical results indicating that these COX-2 inhibitors may cause an increased chance of stroke or heart attack and that the risk increases with the doseage and amount of time the drug has been taken.
I'm currently taking 200 mg. of Celebrex daily which I started on the advice of my oncologist about a month before these recent stories about Celebrex went public. Thanks for any light you can shed on this queston - Sheldon
